Pai Gow Poker
Pai Gow Poker combines the traditional Chinese Pai Gow game with the American Poker. Players play Pai Gow Poker by using a deck of 53 cards along with a wild card (joker). Players in this game aim at assembling two hands of cards that rank high as compared to two hands of the dealer.

Pai Gow Poker Rules:

Each player receives seven cards, which have to be arranged for making two hands namely, the 5-card hand and the 2-card hand. The rankings depend on poker rankings. For example, a 2-card hand is highest, if it ahs two Aces, whereas the greatest 5-card hand is termed the Royal Flush.

5-card hand has to be higher as compared to the 2-card hand. For instance, when a 2-card hand displays a 7-pair (set), the 5-card hand has to include a minimum set of 8-pair. When a player pairs the hands such that 2-card hand appears higher as compared to 5-card hand, then it is the losing hand. Here, you may take the dealer's help, who helps the players on placing hands.

A low 2-card hand needs to have a higher ranking as compared to 2-card hand of the banker, which is also low. Likewise, a high 5-card hand needs to rank highest as compared to the 5-card hand of the banker, which is high. There is a tie when a hand ranks similar to the hand of banker. Usually, the banker takes away all the ties.

When you, as a player win a hand and lose any other hand, then it is a 'push' (tie). In a "push" hand situation, money does not exchange any hand.

Winning hands receive even money, minus a commission of 5 %, whereas the losing hands fail to win the wagered money.

First, the dealer mixes the cards and then distributes 7 hands of 7 cards. Further, the dealer confirms that 4 cards are unused. Those cards accommodate in the discard holder.

The banker might be any player or house dealer. Each player wagers against an offered bank. The dealer always assumes control of the bank. Again, you may receive the bank. Here, a plastic square that is white identifies the banker.

The banker shakes a dice cup, which contains 3 dice. This is for determining that who will get the 1st hand among all the players. Generally, position of the banker is 8, 1 or 15, and the dealer's counting begins from this position only. Accordingly, the dealer places cards clockwise before every player including himself/herself.

Players then arrange their cards into a 5-card high and 2-card low hand. The House dealer looks at your cards only when you, along with other players, including the banker, have set their hands on designated cards, which are face down. Next, the House dealer turns over his/her cards and sets the hand before the tray.

The winning hands lie face up besides the betting circle. As for losing a hand, the dealer picks up the bet and places the cards in the discard holder. The losing bets lie at the center of the table.

Remember, after the banker has exposed his/her cards, you have no authority to touch your cards. In addition, you cannot reveal your hands to other players.
